Rumours about Hollywood sensation Sydney Sweeney's love life have started swirling around after she was spotted with co-star Glen Powell shortly amid calling off her engagement with Jonathan Davino.
The pair were spotted together at a restaurant in Texas, US, where they were allegedly attending Powell’s sister, Leslie Powell’s wedding rehearsal dinner.
According to “TMZ”, they did not attend the rehearsal dinner as a couple, the “Euphoria” actress is attending the wedding with her best friend and RSVP’d months before she called off her engagement.
A source further shared that to the publication Sweeney is very good friends with the Powell family, including Leslie.
This public appearance has fueled a romantic speculation between the two once again.
In 2024, during the press tour of “Anyone But You” the co-stars were embroiled in romantic speculations as they promoted the romantic comedy film.
During that time, Powell and his long time girlfriend and model, Gigi Paris broke up which added fuel to the fire as fans were left to believe that the split happened because of Sweeney and Powell’s relationship.
The 27-year-old actress has also reportedly called off her engagement with her fiancé of three years, Davino. Sweeney and Davino started dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022.
However, speculation that the pair are no longer together started after fans noticed that Sweeney deleted pictures of herself and Davino kissing on her Instagram account.
She later shared pictures of herself without her engagement ring.
According to “People” magazine, a source revealed that things have been rocky between the former couple way before Sweeney called off the engagement.
“Things have been rocky between the pair for a long time,” the source revealed.
Another source told “US Weekly” that the chapter for the pair isn’t entirely over, “Sweeney and Davino have been having major issues but are not fully split.”
