South African actress Manaka Ranaka is navigating the painful journey of mourning her daughter, Katlego “KG” Ranaka, whose untimely passing has left a profound impact on her life and her family. 

In a heartfelt tribute shared on social media, Manaka opened up about the enduring pain and the memories that continue to echo in her life. 

It has been two months since Katlego's unexpected demise on January 23, which has led to a wave of sorrow within her family and the wider community." 

The family, iconic for its connections to the entertainment industry, confirmed the heartbreaking news, requesting prayers and privacy during this challenging time. 

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the sorrowful news of our cherished Katlego 'KG' Ranaka,” they stated, highlighting the deep sense of loss felt by all who knew her.

Manaka, who is best known for her role in the hit soap opera “Generations: The Legacy”, expressed her feelings of emptiness and gratitude for the memories they shared.

Through a touching social media post, she remarked on the irreplaceable void her daughter has left, stating, “Our angelic DIAMOND is shining bright for us! Thank you for the memories, my big girl."
