When asked if she expected to leave the house at this stage of the game, Mshini admitted that she didn't.
“I've never been up for nominations for seven weeks, I only stood up on week eight, and I was saved,” she explained. “I was hoping to get to the last week, which is the finale,” she added.
Life in the house
The competition started with 24 contestants, which meant dealing with 24 different personalities, Mshini described the moment as challenging but ultimately rewarding.
“It was not easy, I had to challenge myself mentally, emotionally, and physically,” she shared.
Amid these difficulties, Mshini formed strong bonds with her fellow housemates, particularly Nsuku. When it comes to Nsuku, she expressed how their relationship felt like a sisterhood and that they connected on a deeper level.
Speaking English is one of the "Big Brother" rules on the show and Mshini shared how she and Nsuku would often laugh at each other's grammar.
“I love her like a sister, we connected, laughed together, and corrected each other's English words.”
Handling conflict inside the controversial house
With so many housemates in the house, personalities were bound to clash, Mshini opened up about the altercations she got into while in the house, acknowledging that she did not expect that she would but also had to protect herself when she was provoked.
Like many other housemates, Mshini's strategy walking into the house was to just be herself and thrive from that.
When asked if she would change anything about her "Big Brother Mzansi" experience, Mshini shared that she had none and that everything that happened in the house happened for a reason.
Sweet Guluva tried to tell Mshini she doesn’t give people a chance... and guess what? Mshini didn’t give him one! 😅 Anyway, si la: https://t.co/iOe1vxbLRV #BBMzansi pic.twitter.com/JejS9oHtPa
Looking ahead
Moving forward, her focus is on staying positive and motivated despite what people think about her “I would rather focus on the positives than the negatives,” she said. With her newfound fame comes scrutiny, but Mshini is ready to handle negative comments and criticism.
As Mshini navigates her post “Big Brother Mzansi” life, she is eager to continue making a name for herself in the entertainment industry.
Her message to fans
To her supporters and fans, Mshini had a special message. “To my supporters, I would like to say thank you so much for voting for me. I know they wanted to see me in the final, but the votes were not enough. Hopefully, they are proud of me,” she said.
She acknowledged that she may not have made it to the final, but she was proud to have entertained her fans and shown them her true self.
