Not even the cold weather could stop attendees from attending the 11th annual DStv Delicious Festival, where American singer-songwriter and actress Jill Scott serenaded the crowd, who just couldn't get enough of her.

Thankfully, temperatures on day two (Sunday) of the festival were not as low as day one on Saturday.

Scott, made sure to give her fans a bit of everything when it came to her discography, performing songs such as; “Cross my Mind”, “Crown Royal”, “A Long Walk” and “Golden”.

Taking to Instagram after her electrifying performance, she thanked her fans for the beautiful and overwhelmingly wonderful response she got from the audience.

Returning to South Africa for the first time in 10 years, Scott in her video emotionally shared that she wanted people to know that she will always come back to the country.

“When YOU sing back Joburg???? It’s so beautiful and overwhelmingly WONDERFUL. Thank you @dstvdeliciousfestival for having us. Thank you Joburg for loving me the way you do. My heart soars,” she captioned her video.

Not only did the DStv Delicious Festival have great entertainment but organisers also ensured that attendees had plenty of time to do from the various brand activations and the wide variety of food trucks.

The Savanna Delicious Lounge even had a screen inside the lounge allowing attendees to also catch the performances without leaving their seats, especially those who didn't want to miss out on all those tapas served from La Parada.

Murumba Pitch is made up of two gifted artists: Emmanuel Mathye and Khathutshelo Innocent Mangolo, also known as Maeywon.
