Music-lovers can get ready for an unforgettable live music experience as the annual SoundsWild open-air festival returns in April.
This year, two headline acts, international star, Youngr and local powerhouse band, GoodLuck, will perform live at Syringa Park at Avianto Estate, Johannesburg on Saturday, April 12.
The much-anticipated music festival promises attendees an extraordinary day filled with remarkable live performances, top-notch sound production and an electric atmosphere, uniting music lovers from diverse backgrounds in a one-of-a-kind experience.
Expressing his enthusiasm the British artist said: "Yoooo! Excited is an understatement!!! I can’t wait to come back to South Africa and play some tunes for you all. It’s been a minute but I’m as ready as ever!"
Youngr made a name for himself in the online sphere with his unique one-take live videos of dancefloor-friendly bootlegs scoring viral success.
Notably, his take on "Sweet Disposition" by The Temper Trap became one of his biggest to date, racking up over 15 million video views within the first two weeks alone.
This artist went on to captivate audiences globally at prestigious festivals such as Tomorrowland, SXSW and Ultra Music Festival.
Joining Youngr on the SoundsWild stage is award-winning local band, GoodLuck, known for their unique fusion of electronic-pop, dance grooves and Afro-house influences.
Their infectious melodies and high-energy performances have redefined the genre, making them a festival favourite both locally and internationally.
Jules Harding, vocalist for GoodLuck, expressed her excitement about the upcoming collaboration: "Dario has been a good friend of ours for a few years now, in fact, we are releasing our first collaboration together this year! So this tour is very exciting for us to be a part of.
As electronic musicians, we both think totally outside the box. We are both on a mission to reimagine dance music in a way that has more feeling, more musicianship and more energy.
