In February, IOL spread the love with our #MyHeart competition where we asked readers to send a shout out to their loved ones to stand a chance of winning some amazing prizes.
Whether it's the love of your life, your BFF, your dog, your cat, your mom, your boss or your second-removed cousin on your grandmother's side, we wanted to know why you appreciate them so much.
Here's one of our winning entries from Thami Ndlovu, who has won two bottles of Strawberry Lips to enjoy with his wife Ntokozo.
A huge shout out to my former colleague, good friend and former girlfriend - who is my strength, my confidante and recently my beautiful wife Ntokozo Miya aka Mrs NP Ndlovu.
I want you to know that your imperfections are my perfections that make me love you even more. When I met you for the first time, after so many goosebumps I had to overcome, you made it bearable to talk to you by just the way you looked at me and the way your smiled at me, and by the way you laughed at me when you realized that I am looking my words - and you encouraged me to get them back.
It has been 11 years now but it still feels like we met yesterday. You still give me goosebumps like on that very first day we met. When I prayed for a wife, I asked to get the one who compliments me on different levels and vice versa, and God blessed me with more than what I asked for.
You have a huge impact in my transformation to the highs I never thought I will reach in my entire like - all because my horizon was not broad enough - but then you came through as changed all there is to change.
Some other experiences we are going through are so scary and difficult, and I do not go through them because I am brave, but I go through them because of your presence - you are next to me from the beginning to the end. You have proven to be the woman who teaches me what patience (just like your name) and self-belief are all about.
All in all, I love (and will forever love) you all to the heavens and back.
I believe you deserve the pampering because your work ethic in our relation since 11 years ago has been breathtaking. As a token of appreciation today, I entered this competition with a great hope that we can have our own time together.
