Gone are the days of simple limo entrances at matric dances. This year, matric pupils are making unforgettable statements with their bold and creative arrivals.
From arriving in coffins to helicopters and ambulances, the creativity seems endless.
The latest? A learner from Brackenfell High School made a grand entrance in a Takealot truck but with a twist. Inside the truck, he and his partner were placed inside a human-sized delivery box, leaving the crowd stunned.
The crowd is seen cheering for one of the most unforgettable entrances, surprised and excited by the moment.

The video, shared on TikTok by thegraymusic, quickly went viral.
People flooded the comments expressing their amazement at the unique entrance, while others joked about potential delays in their Takealot orders, given the truck’s unexpected use at the matric ball.
“This is by far the most unique idea for a matric dance! I love it,” commented Nickey Joseph.
“That’s why our orders are delayed — they’re busy with matric dances instead of delivering our packages,” Morwedi o Mogolo says.
Some even poked fun at the company’s packaging practices.
“Now why does Takealot send one order in six different boxes when they have big boxes like this?” joked allesbehalwe.
The Class of 2024 is certainly making a lasting impression with these uniquely inventive entrances. This matric season is sure to be one for the books.
