President Barack Obama has arrived in South Korea to attend meetings of the world's top 20 economic powers. Tensions over currencies and trade gaps have simmered ahead of the summit following a decision by the US to flood its sluggish economy with $600 billion in cash that has alarmed leaders around the globe. Obama has defended the move by the US Federal Reserve.

He arrived Wednesday night in the capital of Seoul after spending less than a day in Indonesia, where he lived for four years as a boy. He met with Indonesia's president, toured the country's largest mosque and delivered a speech at the University of Indonesia.
