A 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Alaska on Monday close to where a stronger tremor hit on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey said.
The earthquake was centred 30 miles (48 km) southwest of Nikolski in the Aleutian island chain at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km).
Sunday's quake measured 6.7 and caused no damage. - Reuters
