Valletta, Malta - A 14-year-old German student died on Wednesday after falling from his apartment balcony in Malta.
The boy fell from a height of eight storeys in Paceville, police said. The reasons for the incident in the Mediterranean island's nightlife centre are not yet known.
He died on the spot and was certified dead by paramedics who rushed to the scene. A magisterial inquiry is underway.
