Jerusalem - Israeli police say the body of a female tourist bound and repeatedly stabbed has been found outside Jerusalem.
The Israeli press have identified the slain woman as Christine Logan. Her identity has been given alternatively as British and American.
Her friend, identified by the press as Kaye Wilson, was also found bound with her hands behind her back bleeding from multiple stab wounds Saturday.
She told police they had been attacked while hiking in a nearby forest.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said Sunday he could not confirm any details about the dead woman or her friend.
A massive manhunt for Logan was launched after Wilson was discovered. - Sapa-AP
