Nissan has confirmed that it plans to build a production version of its Kicks concept that it revealed at the Sao Paulo motor show in 2014.
The new crossover will be built at the company's Resende factory in Brazil and exported around the globe but it's unclear at this stage exactly where it will fit into Nissan's line-up.
The concept does not appear to be much bigger than the Juke, so it's possible that it will slot between the latter and the Qashqai or simply serve as a more sensible and practical alternative.
The concept, which Nissan said was inspired by the streets of Brazil and designed for its people, looks semi-production-ready so what you see here should be a good indication of what will eventually appear on showroom floors.
