Sao Paulo - This darkened but otherwise quite revealing teaser shot has fuelled speculation about Nissan's compact crossover future.
The concept appears to be smaller than a Qashqai but slightly bigger than a Juke, meaning that Nissan could be plotting another B-segment crossover to slot between the two.
On the other hand, and given that it's set to be revealed at the Sao Paulo motor show next week, it's also possible that such a vehicle could be developed for the South American market only.
We hope not as the concept has a sporty design flavour that could well suit those looking for something like the Juke, but perhaps a tad more mature.
Up front, the concept stands out with an oversized version of Nissan's signature 'v' grille, while blacked-out A-pillars, side window line kink and 'floating roof' effect make it rather interesting from the side.
But we'll have to wait until its public debut on October 29 to see more.
