Nissan's little hatch has come in for a mid-life nip and tuck, sporting numerous changes to the exterior styling and a redesigned dashboard inside.
Most of the scalpel-work took place on its face, where you'll see a more angular set of headlights and a redesigned bumper that houses a bigger and more shapely grille.
Work to the rear end is limited to a reshaped bumper and new LED taillamps and the 2013 Micras also gain new alloy wheel designs.
While the outline of the dashboard is the same as before, the central facia gains square-shaped air vents, in place of the round units on the previous model, and some of the switches and controls have been revised.
The engine range continues as before, with the Micra offering a choice between a 56kW/104Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder and 73kW/134Nm 1.5 on the petrol front and a 47kW/160Nm turbodiesel.
The facelifted model is set to be rolled out to global markets in the coming months.
