Andrew Puttick hit an unbeaten half-century to follow up on some good work by the Cobras bowlers earlier as they completed an eight-wicket SuperSport Series victory on day three of their clash against the Warriors in East London on Saturday.
The opener ended unbeaten on 64 with the defending champions needing just 29.2 overs to chase down the 127 victory target set by the hosts earlier.
That came after Vernon Philander (three for 68) and Johann Louw (three for 33) claimed six wickets between them to help bundle out the Warriors for just 200 following a mid-afternoon collapse that saw them lose the last six wickets for 53 runs.
Beginning the day on 44 for one, Bevan Bennett (36) gave them a good start, before they lost three quick wickets.
But top-scorer Ashwell Prince (45) and Kelly Smuts (29) put on 59 together in a strong fightback, before Philander claimed three of the last four wickers to put a dent in their hopes.
And Yaseen Vallie (47) and Puttick put on 107 together to set up an easy win.
In Potchefstroom, the Titans need nine wickets for victory on the final day of their match against Lions after a fine 124 from David Wiese and half-centuries by Jacques Rudolph (87) and Martin van Jaarsveld (57) left them in complete command.
The Pretoria franchise amassed a massive 375 for eight declared after starting out the day on 31 for one.
Rudolph took his season aggregate to 568 runs, while Wiese shared in stands of 88 and 96 respectively with Van Jaarsveld and CJ de Villiers (40 not out).
Pumelela Matshikwe took four for 90, but by then the Lions were set a massive 476.
They lost Alviro Petersen (four) in the first over and closed on nine for one ahead of what promises to be a tough final day at Senwes Park.
In Durban, Johan van der Wath and Ryan McLaren led a fine bowling display by the Knights as they completed a dramatic turnaround against the Dolphins.
The pair shared six wickets between them at Kingsmead to dismiss the hosts for 160 after they threw away their overnight advantage during an early morning collapse which saw them lose five wickets for 32 runs.
A mediocre batting display from the Dolphins set the visitors a target of just 296 to win Ä far less than they would have expected after a first innings lead of 135.
The visitors had reached 53 without loss when stumps were drawn, thanks to Reeza Hendricks (16 not out) and Dean Elgar (35 not out), with bad light curtailing play 28.1 overs early.
Earlier, the Dolphins began the day on 16 without loss, but captain Imraan Khan (five) fell with just four runs added, before Divan van Wyk and Ahmed Amla shared in a 33-run partnership, the highest of the innings.
Once they fell for 29 and 16 respectively, the rest of the line-up offered little resistance.
Van der Wath ended with 3/26 and McLaren bagged 3/58, while Shadley van Schalkwyk (2/32) also contributed.
