The Knights booked their place in the T20 Challenge playoffs with a seven-wicket victory over the Warriors in Kimberley on Sunday.
The Warriors, who saw their slim playoff hopes fade away with the loss, made 141/6 after they lost the toss and were sent in to bat.
Anchored by a solid top-order effort, the Knights coasted to victory with five balls to spare.
Reeza Hendricks top-scored for the hosts with 48 runs from 43 balls, and was well supported by opener Morne van Wyk.
Van Wyk contributed 37 from 26, with Dean Elgar unbeaten on 33 from 31 deliveries.
Rusty Theron, Andrew Birch and JJ Smuts each bagged a wicket, but the Knights controlled the game as the visitors struggled to put them on the back foot.
Left-arm seam bowler Jandre Coetzee led the Knights attack, striking at the death after a fourth-wicket partnership between Warriors captain Davy Jacobs and Proteas all-rounder Johan Botha threatened to take the game away.
Jacobs and Botha shared an 87-run stand after the visitors were reduced to 30/3 in the sixth over.
The pair stayed together for more than half the innings in a recovery effort, with Jacobs making 46 off 36 balls and Botha contributing 41 from 38.
Coetzee struck twice in the 18th over to remove the middle-order duo.
He also had Parnell, who put together a cameo 19-run knock, caught by Elgar with the penultimate delivery of the innings for a return of 3/25. – Sapa
