The Highveld Lions will have to make home ground advantage count against the Titans in the second leg of their MTN40 semi-final at the Wanderers Stadium on Wednesday.

The odds favoured the Titans going into the match, Cricket SA (CSA) said in a statement on Tuesday.

They have seven successive victories in the competition, with two of their last three wins against the Lions.

The Lions have named an unchanged squad, which represents a vote of confidence in the men who did duty in the first leg.

The Titans have included seam bowler Ethy Mbhalati in their squad. He missed the first leg through injury.

Both teams will wear red ribbons for Wednesday's match in recognition of National Aids Day, which is an ICC and CSA social responsibility project.

“By wearing a red ribbon we are sending a message to the millions of fans across the world that you shouldn't discriminate against people living with HIV,” said Proteas' captain Graeme Smith.

“Two million people die of Aids-related deaths each year and nearly three-quarters of them come from Sub-Saharan Africa,” he said.

Players will also wear red ribbons in the international matches between India and New Zealand, and the West Indies and Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

England and Australia players will wear ribbons during the second Test in the Ashes series on Friday. – Sapa
