Nannes makes debut for Lions

The Lions won the toss and chose to field first in their T20 Challenge match against the Titans in Centurion on Friday.

While Jacques Rudolph (Titans) and Alviro Petersen (Lions) have both left to join the Proteas’ Test squad in New Zealand, the Lions’overseas player Dirk Nannes, makes his debut.

Born in Australia, Nannes has represented both Australia and the Netherlands. He has been in South Africa for some time but has been suffering from a back injury.
