Johannesburg – The One-Day Cup Final between the Cape Cobras and the Titans will now be played on Saturday after continuous rain allowed just 5.5 overs of play on Friday afternoon.

Although the match got underway promptly at 3pm with the Cobras winning the toss and electing to bat at Newlands, the home side could only reach seven without loss before the rain arrived.

The final will start from scratch on Saturday with a fresh toss, and is scheduled to begin at 10am.

In the event that the weather intervenes once again, the trophy will be shared between the two teams. – Sapa
