With remarkable pass rates and distinctions, including top achievers earning up to 9 distinctions, the schools' performances highlight their commitment to nurturing well-rounded, high-achieving students. Principals, including Star College Durban's Ahmet Kayya, expressed immense pride in these exceptional results, underscoring the power of collaboration and determination in shaping the future of their learners.
At Star College Durban, 104 matriculants achieved a 100% pass rate, with an impressive aggregate of 3.49. Notably, 94% of the students earned Bachelor passes.The students collectively secured 363 distinctions, with top achievers including one learner with 9 distinctions, 11 learners with 8 distinctions, and 8 learners with 7 distinctions. Notable subject performances included Physical Science with 22 distinctions (27%), IT with 14 distinctions (88%), Life Sciences with 21 distinctions (31%), and Mathematics with 21 distinctions (23%).

In Cape Town, all 22 Star College matriculants passed, with a Bachelor pass rate of 95.5%. The students achieved 53 distinctions, with one learner obtaining 6 distinctions and three learners securing 5 distinctions each.
Star College Pretoria recorded a 98.2% pass rate among its 53 matriculants, with 83.09% earning Bachelor passes and a total of 52 distinctions awarded.
At the Bridgetown campus, 40 matriculants achieved a 100% pass rate, with an aggregate of 3.45. Notably, 90% of the students obtained Bachelor passes, and the cohort collectively earned a total of 138 distinctions.Top performers included one learner with 10 distinctions and five learners with 8 distinctions each.
Nizamiye Schools also celebrated their students' impressive results. At Nizamiye Al Azhar Institute, all 19 matriculants passed, with 84.2% earning Bachelor passes. The school’s students secured 17 distinctions, with one learner obtaining 4 distinctions.
At Nizamiye Midrand, 30 matriculants achieved a 100% pass rate, with 96.7% earning Bachelor passes. The students collectively achieved 55 distinctions, with one student earning 7 distinctions, two students achieving 4 distinctions each, and six students securing 3 distinctions each.
The Nizamiye School Mayfair campus also shone brightly, with all 43 matriculants passing, 86% earning Bachelor passes, and a total of 80 distinctions awarded. Top achievers included one learner with 8 distinctions and one learner with 7 distinctions.
Horizon High School proudly celebrates its outstanding performance in the 2024 Matric examinations, achieving a remarkable 100% pass rate among its 48 matriculants. This accomplishment reaffirms the school’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic education.The results highlight that 83.3% of the students secured Bachelor passes .The matric class collectively earned 81 distinctions, showcasing their dedication and hard work.Top-performing learners included one student with an impressive 8 distinctions, one with 7 distinctions, two with 6 distinctions, and one with 5 distinctions, setting a high benchmark for future students.
