Travel company Flight Centre and commuter rail company Gautrain are offering promotional packages to a food and music festival later this month as South Africa observes Heritage day.
“Gautrain is excited to partner for the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival presented by Vodacom ... ensuring a hassle-free journey to and from the festival,” the company said. Festival-goers would be able to take its high-speed train to Midrand, where a shuttle bus would take them to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit for the September 22-23 event.
Flight Centre is offering travel and accommodation deals for the festival, which will see performances by international artists including American neo-soul star Erykah Badu and New Zealand’s rising icon multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei.
Experimental cross-genre outfit Jazzanova Live, British acid jazz band, D’Influence, Louie Vega, Todd Terry and local starts such as Oskido, DJ Fresh, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos, and Greg The Maestro will also perform.
