Springbok - 120913 - a watering hole used by the Anglos during the Anglo-Boer war between Springbok and Bowesdorp . The area was fenced off using old gun barrels which can still be seen in the rocks today. - Photo: Matthew Jordaan

Kamieskroon - 120913 - The Grave site of Charles James Darter, Lieutenant of the Namaqualand Border Scouts who was killed in an ambush on the 18 of March 1902 during the Anglo-Boer War. This piece of land still belongs to Great Britain. The Grave was initially 128 Square metres but with the building of the N7 the grave had to be made smaller. This grave is located between Kamieskroon and Kharkams on the N7. It has no clear markings and one has to jump a fence to find it. - Photo: Matthew Jordaan
